What is a soul? How does one visualize it?

This concept is the amalgamation of Perception and Memory, infused with a “core belief” that supports the spiritual world as a kind of skeleton or frame that holds the ego in place. The journey of our brain tells a story of erosion over time - much like limestone in a river that eventually succumbs to disintegration.

As we arrive into this world, we are presented with animal instinct and gene information that becomes our id. But as we age, becomes conflicted with reality; an erosion of the soul and the psyche like the karst phenomenon.

Here, I tried to capture the outcome of erosion, as a portrait of the soul.

灵魂是什么？ 视觉中会是什么样的？

它像是知觉与记忆的融合，一种支撑精神世界的“核心信念”，像解剖学中的骨骼系统，支撑起整个自我。 一个大脑与其身体在生命过程中随时间的变化，好像石灰岩长期遭到湖水侵蚀后，慢慢形成的玲珑雕空。

每个新生儿的本我，都是完整浑圆的动物性本能、基因信息组。 当成长过程中，不断在现实里受阻、冲突、磨损，即是 “灵魂” 在时间河流侵蚀过程中的喀斯特作用。

我尝试将这个侵蚀的结果用视觉的方式呈现出来，它就是“灵魂”的画像。
